Quiche lorrainne verte
Yield: 6 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1/4 lb Bacon cut up
- 6 oz Swiss cheese grated
- 4 Eggs
- 1 tb Flour
- 3/4 ts Salt
- 1/8 ts Pepper
- 1/8 ts Nutmeg
- 1 pt Half & half
- 1 tb Butter
- 4 Green onions inc. tops* Pimientos as garnish
- 1 Unbaked piecrust
Instructions:
* chop green onions (inc. tops) Fry bacon until cooked but not TOO crisp. Place in bottom of unbaked pie crust. Place swiss cheese strips in a crisscross pattern on top of bacon. Combine rest of ingredients (except pimientos) in blender until foamy. Pour mixture into piecrust. Top w/pimentoes. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
