Gridiron green peppers
Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients:
- 4 Green peppers Water salted boiling
- 1 cn Pork and beans(21oz)
- 6 Smoked link sausages chunks
- 1 ts Onion minced dried
- 2 tb Brown sugar
- 1/4 c Catsup
- 1 ts Mustard
Instructions:
prepared Cheddar cheese grated(opt) 1. Cut tops off green peppers; remove seeds and membranes.~ 2. Steam pepper shells over boiling salted water 5 minutes; drain.~ 3. Combine remaining ingredients except cheese in a bowl; fill pepper shells with this mixture.~ 4. Place filled shells in ovenproof casserole; bake in preheated 350'F. oven 20 minutes.~ 5. Top with desired amount of cheese if you like; serve at once.~
