Fig jam with honey
Yield: 1 Batch
Ingredients:
- 1 cup honey equals 1 cup sugar. Peel figs
Instructions:
measure and add 3/4 cup honey for each cup fruit and let cook slowly stirring constantly. When thick pour into jars to within 1/4 inch of top. Put on cap screw band firmly tight. Process in boiling water bath 10 minutes. A little sliced lemon or chopped walnuts in fig jam makes it delicious.
