Dynamic HTML




<language, World-Wide Web> (DHTML) An extension of HTML giving greater control over the layout of page elements and the ability to have web pages which change and interact with the user without having to communicate with the server.

DHTML was created by Microsoft can be viewed in Internet Explorer 4.0 and Netscape Communicator 4.0 but, as usual, Microsoft and Netscape disagree on how DHTML should be implemented.

The Document Object Model Group of the World Wide Web Consortium is developing standards for DHTML.
