Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is rewarding players with a special anniversary level and an entire weekend of action-packed adventure

Celebrate five epic years of slaying and slaying with Warhammer: Vermintide 2! This weekend, March 12th-14th, fans can experience the thrilling A Quiet Drink event level for free. Battle hordes of lethal Ratmen and Chaos Warriors while searching for a nightcap in this action-packed milestone celebration.

Vermintide 2 was a runaway success when it first released in 2018, earning critical acclaim for its engaging combat and creative level design. In the time since then Fatshark has maintained an impressive support schedule with frequent updates of both free and paid content - including Chaos Wastes mode which introduced roguelike elements. This ongoing commitment to quality shows no signs of slowing down: according to recent peak concurrent player counts, Vermintide 2's popularity remains undiminished despite the release earlier this year of Warhammer 40K: Darktide! It seems that Fatshark is intent on continuing their successful partnership with Vermintide into at least 2022...

"I think it’s fair to say that none of us thought Vermintide 2 would have such a lasting impact and still be so popular after half a decade," said Martin Wahlund, CEO of Vermintide 2 developer Fatshark. "We’re immensely proud of what we’ve accomplished with the game and still quite excited about its future. Of course, we wouldn’t be here without all the support from our players, so stay tuned for even more Vermintide 2 in 2023."
