Abstract

This memo defines a set of extensions which instrument RADIUS
authentication server functions. These extensions represent a portion
of the Management Information Base (MIB) for use with network
management protocols in the Internet community. Using these
extensions IP-based management stations can manage RADIUS
   authentication servers.

1. Introduction

This memo defines a portion of the Management Information Base (MIB)
for use with network management protocols in the Internet community.
In particular, it describes managed objects used for managing RADIUS
   authentication servers.

RADIUS authentication servers are today widely deployed by dialup
Internet Service Providers, in order to provide authentication
services. As a result, the effective management of RADIUS
authentication servers is of considerable importance.
