Domain model




<systems analysis> 1. A definition of the functions, objects, data, requirements, relationships and variations in a particular domain.

2. A product of domain analysis which provides a representation of the requirements of the domain.

The domain model identifies and describes the structure of data, flow of information, functions, constraints and controls within the Domain that are included in software systems in the domain. The Domain Model describes commonalities and variabilities among requirements for software systems in the domain.
